// Rosehill Flexilon®

Rosehill Flexilon® consists of a range of cleaners, primers, binders, catalysts and pigments for either hot or cold moulding.

As a brand name Flexilon® is especially known for its range of binders. Rosehill Polymers Ltd has been developing MDI polyurethane binders for sports, play and industrial applications since 1989.

Worldwide experience has resulted in an extensive range of Flexilon® binders available for bonding rubber granules for sports surfaces and children’s playgrounds, each with a different cure rate, which means that the installer can select the binder most suited to local conditions anywhere in the world.

Rosehill Flexilon® systems offer the best UV protection available, preventing the yellowing effect that can occur when exposed to strong sunlight.

Flexilon Primer

Flexilon® FX 1103 is used as a primer in the installation of safety surfaces and functions as a key coat between the base layer and wearing layer of wet pour installations and between layers of wet pour where more than one course is necessary.

Flexilon® FX 3672 is a low viscosity moisture curing solvent-based single component PUR primer with a good adhesion to porous and non-porous substrates and therefore applicable bituminous as well as concrete surfaces.

Flexilon Binder for Wetpour

Flexilon® FX 457 is medium curing for use in warm climates, on warm substrates or where slow curing is a particular requirement. Flexilon® FX 457 is a low viscosity, solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing binder based on polyether polyols. It is MDI based, contains no volatile monomer and is TDI free.

Flexilon® FX 1102 is slow curing for use in warm climates, on warm substrates or where slow curing or a very long open time is a particular requirement. Flexilon® FX 1102 is a solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing binder based on polyether polyols. It is MDI based, contains no volatile monomer and is TDI free.

Flexilon® FX 1110 is fast curing for use in cooler climates, on cold substrates or where fast curing is a particular requirement. Flexilon® FX 1110 is a low viscosity, solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing binder, based on polyether polyols. It is MDI based, contains no volatile monomer and is TDI free.

Flexilon® FX 1118 is medium curing for use in warm climates, on warm substrates or where slow curing is a particular requirement. Flexilon® FX 1118 is a low viscosity, solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing binder based on polyether polyols. It is MDI based, contains no volatile monomer and is TDI free.

Flexilon® FX 1142 is slow to medium curing for use in warm climates, on warm substrates or where slow curing or a very long open time is a particular requirement. Flexilon® FX 1142 is a solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing binder based on polyether polyols. It is MDI based, contains no volatile monomer and is TDI free.

Flexilon® FX 1180 is fast curing for use in cooler climates, on cold substrates or where fast curing is a particular requirement. Flexilon® FX 1180 is a low viscosity, solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing binder based on polyether polyols. It is MDI based, contains no volatile monomer and is TDI free.

Flexilon® FX 1230 is very slow curing for use in warm climates, on warm substrates or where slow curing or a very long open time is a particular requirement. Flexilon® FX 1230 is a solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing binder based on polyether polyols. It is MDI based, contains no volatile monomer and is TDI free.

Flexilon® FX 1231 is medium curing for use in warm climates, on warm substrates or where slow curing is a particular requirement. Flexilon® FX 1231 is a low viscosity, solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing binder based on polyether polyols. Flexilon® FX 1231 has been developed to show improved UV stability, particularly against early discolouration during the curing process. It is MDI based, contains no volatile monomer and is TDI free.

Flexilon® FX 1248S is very slow curing for use in warm climates, on warm substrates or where slow curing or a very long open time is a particular requirement. Flexilon® FX 1248S is a solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing binder based on polyether polyols. It is MDI based, contains no volatile monomer and is TDI free.

Flexilon® FX 1248W is slow curing for use in warm climates, on warm substrates or where slow curing or a very long open time is a particular requirement. Flexilon® FX 1248W is a solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing binder based on polyether polyols. It is MDI based, contains no volatile monomer and is TDI free.

Flexilon® FX 1258 is very slow curing for use in warm climates, on warm substrates or where slow curing or a very long open time is a particular requirement. Flexilon® FX 1258 is a solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing binder based on polyether polyols. It is MDI based, contains no volatile monomer and is TDI free.

Flexilon® FX 1263 is a slow to medium curing binder. It is a slower version of Flexilon® FX 1110 and more moisture tolerant than Flexilon® FX 1118. Flexilon® FX 1263 is a low viscosity, solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing binder, based on polyether polyols. It is MDI based and is TDI free.

Flexilon Binder for Sport & Multi-Functional Surfaces

Flexilon® FX 1102 is slow curing for use in warm climates, on warm substrates or where slow curing or a very long open time is a particular requirement. Flexilon® FX 1102 is a solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing binder based on polyether polyols. It is MDI based, contains no volatile monomer and is TDI free.
Flexilon® FX 1230 is very slow curing for use in warm climates, on warm substrates or where slow curing or a very long open time is a particular requirement. Flexilon® FX 1230 is a solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing binder based on polyether polyols. It is MDI based, contains no volatile monomer and is TDI free.

Flexilon Spraycoating

Flexilon® SC is a single component, pigmented, solvent-based polyurethane structural spray coating with excellent mechanical and highly elastic properties. Spray coated surfaces exhibit high abrasion resistance. This type of sports system will offer a surface which is permeable.
Flexilon® PS2 is a two-component, pigmented, thixotropic, solvent-free MDI based polyurethane (PU) pore sealer. Flexilon® PS2 is a thixotropic system that has a long pot life. This ensures that the product is easy to apply. The material is tolerant to atmospheric moisture during the curing process and exhibits good curing characteristics over a relatively wide service temperature range.

Flexilon Cleaner

Flexilon® Cleaner P+ is a N-Ethyl Pyrrolidone (NEP) solvent thickened into a paste. Flexilon® Cleaner P+ is a powerful cleaning paste used for cleaning tools and equipment that are covered with hardened and fully cross-linked polyurethane.

Flexilon® Cleaner P is a non-hazardous Dibasic Ester (DBE) solvent thickened into a paste. Flexilon® Cleaner P is used for cleaning tools and equipment that are covered with soft polyurethane (PU) that is not fully hardened and cross-linked
